About PixelMix

I have been posting to a blog under the name of PixelMix in some form or another since 2006. The site is run using PixelPost, and the design is my own modified version combining versions of various other themes

PixelMix was originally started to let me make better use of my camera, take shots more often and post almost every day. Most of the photos are taken around Edinburgh or Glasgow, or sometimes further afield. I don't claim to be a good photographer, but occasionally I take photos that I like. I tend not to edit images much as I prefer realism. Whilst my images would look better with a bit of Photoshopping, I tend to post them straight from the camera, or with just minor amounts of tweaking.

Anyone can post comments on the site, and I welcome comments - good or bad. Thanks to my long suffering Monica, for telling me to hurry up and stop taking so many photos when it's too cold to feel your fingers.
